This game coordinates well with our God's Top Ten Bible lessons

Goal
Be the first team (or player) to find all your cards—and learn the Ten Commandments as you play!

What You Need
“Look & Learn” Ten Commandments flash cards, Bright card stock paper (different colors if playing in teams), Scissors

Cut out your cards so you have 10 picture cards, and 10 commandment cards for each team. It will be necessary to review and practice the hand motions before playing.

Set Up
Hide all the cards before the game starts. (During a rainy day you might play in your classroom or in your church sanctuary, hiding the cards next to the pew hymnals.)

How to Play
Form Teams (optional). Give each team a color to find. (For example, the Blue Team searches on one side of the sanctuary, the Green Team searches the other.)

Start the Hunt
At “Go!” players race to find their cards. When your team has all its cards, sit together in a circle with your cards face down in the middle.

Take Turns
First player picks a card from the top of the pile.
If it’s a picture card, say the matching commandment.
If it’s a commandment card, show the hand motion.
If you’re not sure, the next player gets a try.
Play proceeds clockwise.

Finish the Game
Keep playing until every card has been flipped over and every commandment has been said or shown.
