Getting started
Mark off a large play area. For small groups choose one player to be "IT." For larger groups, choose 2-3 players.

Game Start
When the teacher says "GO," he or she begins slowly counting out loud to seven.

Tagging Rules
While the teacher counts, the "IT" players chase the others, trying to tag them.
When someone is tagged, "IT" says, "Remember the Sabbath Day." The tagged player must freeze in place, respond with "Keep it holy," and then sit down.

Unfreezing Players
Unfrozen players can rescue frozen ones by tagging them and saying, "Remember the Sabbath Day." The frozen player responds, "Keep it holy," stands up, and rejoins the game.

Round End
When the teacher reaches the count of seven, he or she calls out, "Remember the Sabbath Day!"
All players respond together with, "Keep it holy!" The teacher then chooses new "IT" players from those who are not frozen, and a new round begins.
