Kaleidoscope Fun
Kaleidoscopes were invented by a Scottish scientist in 1816. The word kaleidoscope is a Greek word that means "Beautiful Form Watcher;"
("kalos" means beautiful, "eidos" means form, and "scopos" means watcher.)
Kaleidoscopes are a fascinating toy. Light brings out the best part of a
kaleidoscope, which makes them a perfect craft to teach children about reflecting the light of
Jesus!
